Favorite Places Art Studio was originally begun 20+ years ago in Scottsdale, Arizona, and is now located near Caseville, in Michigan's Thumb area. 

The artist, Becky S. Ryan, is a painter who focuses on photorealistic original oil paintings painted largely from reference photographs.  She specializes in rural landscapes, lakefront/waterfront views and paintings of old barns and other rural buildings.

Most of her artwork is designed to be hung without a frame.  The photo below shows how they look without a frame, with the 1 1/2" deep gallery-wrapped sides painted black.
